Smokin' Gun Stevie is my AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi & cutter than ought to be alowed!

There are few animals that are as special to me as Stevie is. There are only 5 others, to be exact-2 of which are no longer with us. There was my beautiful Newbian goat, Sally, Amore my betta splendens (fighting fish) (he is no longer with us), my first cria, T-bolt, my mohair goat Snazzy & my first dam & barer of so many beautiful crias Vernaccia. Then there's Stevie.
I have wanted a Corgi ever since I first saw them at a dog show when I was little. Well, last year my dream came true on November 18th, it was a Friday, my parents bought him for me as a gift. I still remember going to the owners' place & bending down, seeing all the little puppies peek their little heads out & look at us. They were outside & the owner put them all in a large bucket & brought them in the house. I got the pleasure of being the first to call , I had the pick of the litter.
I'll never forget how Stevie showed me he was the one. Some of the others would come up & lay their adorable heads on my knees, others were to bussy sniffy around & using the freshly layed newspaper. There were six of them, one girl & 5 boys. Stevie was on the outside of the litter, by a big sliding glass door. The owner went outside to get something & made a bumping noise as he reentered the house. Stevie's little pricked ears purked up & he let out the cuttest little bark. I knew then & there, he was the one. To this day he is very alert & ready to go. He's a great little guard dog & the best little companion a person could ask for.
He's extremely smart & will pick up on almost anything very quickly.
I remember when T-bolt ran off that one cold December day. I was very destrought, I'd taken out after him. Stevie was only well, about 8 weeks old, maybe a little older. We weren't sure he could make it. He surprised all of us by not only making it, he kept up with me as I frantically searched for the Bolt, calling, running & finally finding myself in dispear, thinking I'd never see the best llama I'd ever owned, again. Through it all he stayed right there with me, when I knelt down & put my hands in my face he came up & licked me, I don't know why he did he just did.
I could go on telling you stories about him but all I can really say is, I've met quite a few dogs in my life but I have never had/met one as good as this one. If your considering a dog, think about a Corgi, they're amazing little animals. One thing, though, if you do get one, be prepared to have your life ran by it...not in a bad way, they are just such good little dogs that it ends up happening!LOL

This was taken last summer(July), in the evening. I think he would make a great point guard!
