Pudge, as we call him, is a once in a life time find! I know I will find many a good llama in my travels & quests
for better breeding stock but none like I found this one! We basically fell head first onto Pudge at a llama show. He was
purchased for his fiber at $600. We had originally planned to geld him but as he grew we decided he was just to pretty to
turn into a gelding. His personality would be better for it but I just had to have his babies!
Pudge is out of Lyon's Mane, a daughter of the famouse *Lion of Bolivia, who is, in my mind, one of the greatest llamas
to ever be brought into the US. *Lion is no longer open for outside breedings so that makes his offspring that much more valuable-he's
not getting any younger either.
I look at Pudge & look at *Lion and Pudge is the "spitting" (no pun intended) image of *Lion in the face. He has
*Lion's beautiful peachy fiber & the soft exspression. He's 3/4 bolivian 1/4 south american. His conformation is
good, that I can tell. His fleeces is so silky soft & he is one wang dang of a looker when in full fleece. His one baby,
that's on the ground, Stetson, took first & Reserve Grand in his first Conformational class, he also excels at obstacle
& personality related things. So far Pudge will be & is my Senior Herd sire. I don't see him being booted off his
pedistool any time soon!
Rogue was a herdsire, he's sired 3 babies, now-2 that aren't on the ground yet. His babies are, at best, sub standard
in the conformational department but they have awesome personalities & great fiber. Rogue is going to be gelded this October.
Below you will find pictures of Pudge & Pudge's baby.

Stetson, Pudge's first production. He's got streight leggs, a streight back & gorgeouse ears! |
Pudge pretty much went wild in his 6th year. He wanted to kill all the other llamas on the place & would have, had
we not pinned him up. Do to this I haven't been able to show him for some time. Recently, he has calmed down & will only
fight if fought with or picked on. I am thinking, now that I will probably be able to show him again, that I am very excited
about!:)
